„For me, collecting is an adventure and an experience in a very comprehensive sense. It goes far beyond the two concepts of „discovery" and „possession". What is also of great importance is „understanding" (the works of art and the artists’ intentions), the fascination with the total individuality of artistic personalities, comprehending a larger context and naturally also the dialogues and the conception of exhibitions I share with the artists and curators. In this way, as I see it, collecting becomes an all-round experience, a „total
